Travel Guide:

Bali, Indonesia

This is the classic paradise spot with pretty beaches, vibrant sunsets, and lots to see + do! This a great place to go with friends or a significant other. My boyfriend and I took this trip together and had a wonderful time here.

THE VILLA:

We decided to splurge just for a night at a private villa. It was very inexpensive, large in size, and the private pool was amazing. The only downside is that it is in the middle of nowhere. But this is somewhere I would like to come back to again!

FOOD:

Bali is where I was introduced to chicken satay for the first time. There is just something so delicious about chicken on a stick dipped in a sweet peanut sauce. Balinese food has to be one of my favorites.

KUTA:

Kuta is where a lot of tourists stay. But there is still plenty to see and do here! The sunset was quite stunning and the drinks were pretty good.

MOUNT BATUR VOLACANO SUNRISE TREK:

This hike was probably my least and most favorite part. Least because it was ver challenging. Most because the view was so worth it. We had to wake up at 1:30 am for the driver to take us to the trailhead and then our tour guide directed us to the top. Very beautiful.

 HOT SPRINGS:
After the hike we relaxed in some hot springs. This is me admiring the view of the volcano we just hiked.

LUWAK COFFEE PLANTATION:

This is the world's most expensive cup of coffee. Read more here if you're interested in how they're made.

TEGALLALANG RICE TERRACES:

This is really fun to explore and see how rice is grown. I never knew that they grew like this! It is cool to see the local people farming them as well.

Thank you Bali for an amazing time. I can't wait to return someday soon. Thanks for reading and happy travels!
