Black and White
FASHION POST: BLACK AND WHITE
It has taken me a month to post anything because life has been so busy! Was in the hospital, went to Bintan Island in Indonesia, my mother was in town for a couple of weeks, and now currently packing for our 3 week trip to Australia and New Zealand (which is in two days btw!!!) Also just hit 6K subscribers on YouTube and decided to change the name of my blog from City Fashion Girl to Global Fashion Gal. I will make a separate blog post in the future explaining why :)
As I mentioned earlier, I went to Bintan Island, Indonesia with my boyfriend to celebrate a special occasion. It is only a short 1 hour ferry from Singapore to get here so making a weekend trip here is ideal. I kept this outfit at the resort pretty simple because I wanted to easily jump in the pool after walking around or laying around on a hammock.
My go-to hairstyle for traveling is a french dutch braid. Not only does it look so cute but it keeps my hair out of my face and it requires no styling tools. I have also developed a new obsession for one piece swimsuits. Lets face it. Not everyone has a bikini body and I am one of those people. I am naturally more curvy than most women my age and I definitley have a pooch. I eat a mostly healthy diet and exercise daily but it is still not enough to wear a bikini. I decided to just accept that fact and look for swimsuits that do flatter me. And that is a strapless one piece. They are really sexy and classy and make you appear slimmer than you really are.
