恭禧發財 Gong xi fa cai! (Happy Chinese New Year!)
This is the year of the Rooster which means people that are born in a year of the Rooster are very observant. They are hardworking, resourceful, courageous, confident, and talented. The Rooster is tenth year in the Chinese zodiac 12 year cycle.
I decided to head over to my most favorite Chinatown in the world which is the one in Singapore. It's so large and full of culture. Chinese New Year is the holiday of the year. It's a much bigger deal than Christmas here. I was pleasantly surprised with the amount of decorations hung up everywhere. I felt like I was in a sea of red lanterns.
Since it is the new year, I decided to make some new major changes in my life. Including my new hair color! (This was actually a complete accident.) You're probably thinking.... BRI HOW DO YOU "ACCIDENTALLY" DYE YOUR HAIR?! Well I made this fun little video to answer that question which you can watch here.
Dress: H&M | Bag: Kate Spade | Necklace: Tiffany & Co. | Sandals: Target | Sunnies: RayBans
