Hey everyone! James and I had the wonderful opportunity to stay in a Tiny House while we stayed in the little town, Marton of New Zealand.
It taught us a lot about simplicity and being creative with the space that you have. Our idea of "success" is developed by a consumerism driven society enriched in power hungry individuals that makes us feel like we always want something more and something bigger than what we already have. This tiny house is perfect for all of our needs for just the two of us. It has inspired James and I to build a tiny house one day. Living in a big city right now is nearly impossible but in the far future when we settle down, we want to make this dream a reality.
Staying in a Tiny Home was surprisingly not as claustrophobic like we though it would be. First we went to the supermarket to get some supplies to make dinner with. We used our vintage potbelly stove to cook up some onions and sausages, cut some fresh bread, opened a bottle of wine, and had a side salad for dinner. After that we enjoyed the no reception and wifi and just enjoyed each other's company in this cute little home. We read books, talked about our future together, and checked out everything the property had to offer!
