Singapore SuperTree Light Show at Gardens By The Bay
Singapore is home to the giant man-made Supertrees that is a part of a huge $43 million gardens project to make Singapore 'botanical capital of the world'. The Supertrees are as tall as skyscrapers, are fitted with solar panels, hanging gardens, and displays different plants and flowers from all over the world.
This is my most favorite tourist attraction in Singapore because it is beautiful, unique, and eco-friendly. I have been here 3 times now and I want to go again soon! If you only have a short layover in Singapore and need something to do after dinner, come watch this free show at Gardens by the Bay. If you want to get up close and personal with the Supertrees, you can purchase the $7 tickets to the OCBC Skyway around 7:30pm to catch the evening light show and watch as the trees come alive from above!
The first time I watched the show, I was alone and it was during my solo female backpack trip to Asia to find myself. The second time is after I moved to Singapore and I took a friend there from New Zealand, and the third time with my mother when she came to visit and see the famous trees of my new home.
Singapore is a beautiful place and my most favorite city in the world. I am so lucky that I get to live here an experience these trees anytime I want a little magic in my life.
Happy & safe travels!
