HAPPY SUNDAY! Is it the start of the week or the end of the week? To me it feels like the end of the week because I don't consider it a "new week" until I wake up on Monday Morning.
On a typical Sunday I am either getting things prepared for the week ahead of me such as chores or meal prepping. Or I just use this day to simply do whatever I want. Get brunch, visit a museum, watch YouTube videos all day. I haven't had one of those Sundays in a while because of my busy schedule. I tend to be a workaholic so I find any opportunity to be productive because I feel like there is always so much to do!
What I am trying to say is, give yourself time to just relax. It is a part of productivity. I have been reading on a lot of blogs lately that bloggers are so busy that they ONLY wear makeup for photo shoots and that the rest of the time they are in their lulu lemons, messy buns, and not a drop of makeup on their skin. That used to be me. One day I realized I should wear makeup because I feel like it, not that I have to for photos. Although I love being in my PJs and no makeup on my face, I try to make a habit to get dolled up for my "me times" which is more often now.
"Me times" are for when I get to do whatever I want with no guilt and treat myself for a small but decent amount of time until I am ready to get back at it! Some of the things that I do is window shopping, get bubble tea, get my nails done, discover a new spot I haven't been to, read a book at a coffee shop, or even just calling up a friend if they want to hang out for a few hours.
Don't feel like that because you are a blogger, you need to give up your "me time" and dolling yourself up. Throw on your favorite outfit, some lipstick, and go treat yo' self!
