6 Most Instagram Worthy Places in Hong Kong
Hong Kong is crazy obsessed when it comes to finding the best instagrammable spots. It's a massive city with a technology based society so it's no wonder that it is such a popular thing to do here. I have compiled a list of the 6 most Instagram Worthy Places in Hong Kong.
1. The streets and alleyways of Causeway Bay
This whole area is flourishing with instagram worthy shots. Any street or alleyway you turn on will have a unique view. These gorgeous red lanterns were lining a random street I was walking on. It is not hard to miss!
2. Avenue of Stars
It is located on the Victoria Harbour waterfront in Tsim Sha Tsui overlooking Hong Kong Island. The city lights make for nice photographs and if you have a camera that supports long exposure shots, then make that to good use! I took a 30 second exposure shot and the boat that was passing by, created these interesting light streaks.
3. Cute Dim Sum at Yum Cha - Central
How CUTE are these little guys?! Go to Yum Cha for yummy dim sum that is also fun to take photos of. Make everyone jealous of your amazing meal when they scroll through your feed.
4. Steep Cobbled Steps in Central
Sit or stand on these steps that lead to many different shops along these steep steps. This is a very popular spot in HK to take photos.
5. The Peak
Get an amazing view of the city here from above. I didn't come on a good night since it was very misty and hard to see anything. But on a normal night, you can see a beautiful view.
6. Montae Mansion
Hong Kong is one of the most densely populated places in the world. When your stove is above your toilet then I think it's time to move... it's still very beautiful to look at and show how creative people can be with space. Come capture this representation of crowded spaces in Hong Kong. Just remember to be respectful since people live here.
Hope this helped you for your upcoming trip to Hong Kong! Have you been before? If so, what is somewhere in Hong Kong that you've been to that should be added on this list?
