Exploring Macau on a Day Trip from Hong Kong

by - 3:54 AM

Macau is way more than just casinos to gamble at. Macau offers a lot of rich history, amazing Chinese-Portuguese food, and beautiful buildings. Macau is an autonomous territory and is located to the west of Hong Kong. It was once a colony of Portugal and has a lot to offer and is a great mix of Asia, Portugal, and Las Vegas. While I was in Hong Kong, I knew I had to visit Macau as well. It is only a 90 minutes ferry ride from Hong Kong to Macau. Almost 650,000 live here and the languages spoken here are Mandarin, Portuguese and Cantonese. This combination of East and West in one tiny place is truly what makes Macau a unique destination to visit. And it’s nothing like its neighbors of mainland China or Hong Kong just across the water.

Yes, that is a real life sized replica of the Eiffel tower at The Parisian Macao Hotel. No need to go to France now! All jokes aside, when I heard of this attraction I just had to see it in person!
